The Nishikigoi Wakimizu Bakki Shower brings the classic Japanese trickle-tower to your koi pond. Wakimizu means "koi spring water" in Japanese, and that is exactly what a Bakki shower delivers: pond water is pumped to the top tray and cascades down through stacked trays of filter media in open air, super-oxygenating the water, gassing off carbon dioxide and other dissolved wastes, and giving beneficial bacteria an oxygen-rich home. The result is the pure, clear, spring-like water Japanese breeders are famous for.
Choose Polypropylene for a heavy-duty build that lasts for years, or 316 Stainless Steel for a premium commercial-grade shower. Inlet unions mount on the back side for easy hookup and a very clean installation, and support grids in the bottom tray keep media off the outlet for better flow and dispersion. Five widths run from the 15-inch unit, sized for small ponds and quarantine setups, to the 80-inch unit for large ponds and high fish loads. Each is available with your choice of a waterfall or pipe outlet.
